Eating Problems
Since using the The Habit Experts Kits, I haven’t eaten a lot between meals. The cards make me
think and stop. I lost 3 pounds in one week. Last night, I went ahead and ate
ice cream anyway, but it was a completely different experience. For the first
time in a long time, I was able to really taste it and actually enjoy it.

Anger and Relationship

Recently, I was trying to get my five-year old daughter
into her car seat, and she was fighting me. I was losing my temper. I reached
into my purse and grabbed my “Stop and Breathe” card. My daughter asked me what
I was doing. I told her that I was using the card so that I wouldn’t get angry
at her. I calmed down quickly and was able to be more patient. A few days later,
my daughter was feeling frustrated while building a toy. She called out to me
and asked me for one of “those cards”. So I gave her the “Stop and Breathe”
card. She took a few deep breaths, looked at me, and said “Now, I feel better.”

Alcohol and Drug Abuse
I used the “Consider the Consequences” card before going
out on the town. I have been getting drunk and rowdy lately. I managed to enjoy
the night and drink mindfully without getting drunk. And I didn’t get into a

Every day, after work, I had at least a couple of drinks while preparing dinner.
This helped me transition from my working life to my home life. It was a habit
that I wasn’t even aware of. After using The Habit Experts Kit for less than a week, I
